$100 mil hotel-villa complex breaks ground in Da Nang

Work has begun on a US$100-million hotel and villa complex has been launched in the central city of Da Nang.

Located on Non Nuoc Beach, selected as one of the world's most beautiful beaches in 2005 by the Forbes, the 15.4-hectares-plus Raffles complex will comprise a five-star hotel with 142 rooms and 39 villas, said Le Khac Hiep, vice chairman of the Ukraine-based Vingroup run by overseas Vietnamese.

According to the investor, which was formerly known as Technocom Corporation, they have contracted the UK-owned Wimberley Allison Tong & Goo Limited Company to design the project.

The project, expected to be completed in June, 2011, was transferred to Vingroup by the United Arab Emirates-based Kingdom Hotel Investment and the European Hotel Corporation.

Da Nang City is heavily promoting investment into the Non Nuoc Beach which is conveniently close to the Da Nang International Airport and three UNESCO World Heritage sites: the ancient town of Hoi An, the My Son Cham ruins and the former imperial capital of Hue.

Tranquil surroundings at the Pasteur Villa Group in the Central Highlands' resort town of Da Lat

Known as the "Heaven of tourism" and "City of flowers," the Central Highlands' Da Lat Town architecture is uniquely French.

Owning one of the town's French-style villas is trendy these days, which is why Pasteur Villas Group is doing well letting out their villas to holiday-makers.

Nicely positioned on Hoang Hoa Tham Street, 1 kilometer from Da Lat's center, Pasteur Villas Group is a mountainside family resort. There are four villas with different names of flowers: Lotus, Sunflower, Camellia and Rose. Built in 2002, Rose Villa was the first one with the original name Pasteur Villa. Following came Camellia Villa in 2003 and Sunflower Villa in 2005.

Owner Huynh Ngoc Yen built the villas to be close to nature according to her own needs. After some trying times doing business in Ho Chi Minh City, she realized the importance of tranquility and balancing the mind as taught by Zen teachers. Each one of her villas has a quiet corner with books on Zen philosophy.

The fourth villa, Lotus, was converted from a house to a holiday villa in 2007. A new fifth villa opposite Lotus is now ready for guests. Each villa is convenient, cozy, private and reasonably priced, from VND550,000-4,000,000 (US$32.30- 235.20) per day.

The elegant dining room, bedrooms, parlor, reading room, kitchen and garden with beautiful valley panoramas provides a feeling of "being at home." Spending a morning and romantic evening with your partner at Pasteur Villa Group or the Pasteur Café promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Between relaxing, there are also activities for tourists like mountain climbing, stream and forest trekking, exploring rural life and gardening in Da Lat Town. Pasteur Villa Group is a fashionable destination for families, friends and romantic getaways.
